I am a computer programmer and artist. I live in Wellington, New Zealand, and I am the author of this website.

Stuff I have done

In the 1990s I was a filmmaker, making animations and experimental films with 8mm, 16mm or 35mm film.

Between 1999 and 2003 I worked as a developer for Katipo Communications.

In 2003 I wrote Upstage, a web performance platform, for Avatar Body Collision, which I worked on again in 2005.

In 2004 I made a Filmmaking Robot.

In 2006 I made a Mimetic Television.

In 2007 I wrote a video game system.

In 2008 I worked for One Laptop Per Child on their School Server project.

Since 2009 I have been working on a new authoring and publishing system for FLOSS Manuals.
